Zombies hit the beach in new Fear the Walking Dead promo

The beach… A great vacation spot. Sun, sand, total exposure to zombie hordes… OK, maybe it's not the best place to be during the zombie apocalypse, but don't tell the folks from Fear the Walking Dead because they're headed there in season 2. In this new promo, you can see the surviving characters attempt to navigate the trials and perils of sea life with an action-packed set of new clips that honestly make me regret missing the first season. Living in the same universe as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 will air its second season of 15 episodes in two parts, beginning with the first of seven episodes on April 10th. Dougray Scott and Daniel Zovatto join a cast that includes Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Lorenzo James Henrie, Ruben Blades, Mercedes Mason, and Colman Domingo.
