The Batman: Matt Reeves shares a new image of Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle

Matt Reeves has shared a new image of Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle for The Batman ahead of this weekend’s DC Fandome. The pic shows Kravitz with her eye makeup on point while wearing a white cotton top. Though she isn’t wearing her skin-tight catsuit, she still looks like the cat’s meow from where I’m standing. She also looks like she’s thinking about using someone for a scratching post. I wonder who it could be?

Kravitz is the latest actor to play Selina Kyle for a live-action adaptation of Batman. In looking for inspiration, she’s become fond of the Batman: Year One comic, as well as Michelle Pfeifer’s version of the character. That’s not to say that she won’t make the character her own in the new film. Quite the opposite. After all, who wouldn’t want to dig their claws into such an iconic role?

If you think a new image of Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle is the cat’s pajamas, wait until you see what this weekend’s DC Fandome has to offer. It’s already been confirmed that we’ll be getting a brand-new trailer for the upcoming film, but could more surprises be on the way? Perhaps we’ll get more details concerning the Penguin spin-off planned for HBO Max?

Set to be executive produced by The Batman‘s Matt Reeves and Dylan Clark, the series will tell a “Scarface-like” tale of the Penguin’s rise to power. Colin Farrell plays the character in the upcoming Matt Reeves movie – and looks nearly unrecognizable – but unfortunately, it’s not clear if he’s involved in this project. We’ll have to wait for more details to know for sure.

In the meantime, keep it close as we roll into the weekend when more information about The Batman is sure to come swooping in from the shadows.
