Fear the Walking Dead cast members Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson, Austin Amelio, Ruben Blades, Karen David, Mo Collins, and Colby Hollman are all returning for the show's upcoming sixth season, with Collins and Hollman officially being promoted to series regular status. A status they'll be sharing with a brand new cast member.
Zoe Colletti, who genre fans may have recently seen in SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK, has signed on to play a character in the sixth season of Fear the Walking Dead who will be considered a series regular as soon as she shows up.
Details on this character have not been revealed, all AMC is saying is that this is "a pivotal new role that will unfurl as the season progresses."
Season six of Fear the Walking Dead will explore
what has become of the unlikely family of survivors who were ripped apart by a formidable new adversary at the end of season five.
Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, Scott M. Gimple, and showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg.
I haven't seen SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK yet, so I can't really form an opinion on Zoe Colletti's Fear the Walking Dead casting, aside from the fact that I don't think the show needs yet another series regular added into the mix at this point. But we'll see how it goes… and I'll make sure to watch SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK before the sixth season of Fear the Walking Dead reaches the airwaves.
