Zazie Beetz still really wants to play Domino again for Deadpool sequel

Deadpool 2 introduced us to Domino, a mutant who possessed probability-altering powers. Played by Zazie Beetz, Domino proved to be one of the stand-out characters of the film. While Deadpool 3 is confirmed to be on the way, we don’t know if Domino will be involved, but if Zazie Beetz has her way… Domino will be back for more.

While speaking with ComicBook.com, Zazie Beetz expressed her enthusiasm for Domino and her desire to return for more Deadpool movies; In fact, she hopes that she might even be able to take the lead of a Domino origin story.

I would love to revisit Domino. I would love to do a Deadpool 3, 4, 5, 7, 19. I’ve also wanted to be like, ‘Maybe I could just do my own origin story.’ I feel honored to have been able to depict her on screen and to have played with her, as her. I love her and so I would be more than happy to revisit her on camera. And I think I will. If Disney doesn’t make it happen, I’ll make it happen.

Count me down for the Domino origin movie. Although Deadpool 3 will happen, it remains to be seen just how the notoriously filthy character will make his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that the Deadpool sequel will be rated R, which has put fans at ease.

Zazie Beetz can currently be seen in The Harder They Fall, a Western directed by Jeymes Samuel that recently debuted on Netflix. The film stars Jonathan Majors as Nat Love, an outlaw who reunites with his gang in order to seek revenge on an old enemy who is being released from prison.
