On Twitter today, director Zack Snyder just revealed a sneak peak at the new design for Jared Leto's Joker, who is reprising his role from David Ayer's Suicide Squad in Snyder's Cut of Justice League.
Check it out below:
Now, I'm not going to lie, I'm not really looking forward to HBO Max's upcoming Snyder Cut of Justice League at all. I personally thought Snyder's Batman v. Superman was one of the worst superhero movies ever made (at least Batman & Robin was fun), so I can't imagine anything less I'd want to see than a continuation of his "vision". In fact, the only thing possibly worse than Snyder's BvS was David Ayer's Suicide Squad and Jared Leto's Juggalo-ker, so this is just all kinds of no thank you for me.
But I also know many people are looking forward to this, and honestly? More power to them. Seriously. I mean, it's not like the Justice League that did make it to theaters was any sort of masterpiece. And who knows? Maybe I'll be wrong and Snyder's Cut will rule! Weirder things have happened, and I'm often wrong about things! Furthermore, I'll definitely give it a shot regardless, simply for the trainwreck factor (or, again, being pleasantly surprised – so it's really a win-win for me).
Anyway, Justice League: The Snyder Cut will hit HBO Max as a four-hour movie on March 18th!
