Latest Justice League teaser gives Darkseid & Steppenwolf a chance to shine

The theatrical version of Justice League largely featured Steppenwolf as the main villain, and although that will still be the case with Zack Snyder's Justice League, the new film will open up the villain front quite a bit, especially as it will feature much more from Darkseid, the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips who has turned 100,000 worlds to dust and seeks to add Earth to that list. As we inch closer to the much-anticipated release of Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max, Snyder has been releasing a series of character-centric teasers to get fans pumped up, and the latest turns its attention to Darkseid and Steppenwolf. Zack Snyder's Justice League will be premiering on HBO Max next week, although a few fans were able to get an early peek at the film when it mistakenly leaked on the streaming service earlier this week. HBO Max subscribers who went to watch Tom and Jerry experienced an error which found them being able to watch an hour of Zack Snyder's Justice League instead before they were cut off.

The official synopsis for Zack Snyder's Justice League:

In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Zack Snyder's Justice League will debut on HBO Max on March 18th.
