Zack Snyder’s Justice League headed to 4K UHD & Blu-ray in September

Grab your capes, cowls, and some sweet merch from Arctic Ninja Designs because Zack Snyder's Justice League is coming home… again. The "Snyder Cut" will be released on 4K UHD and Blu-ray in North America on September 7th. That gives you all a little more than two months to set your hype engines to overdrive and plan your screening parties accordingly.

Recently Snyder himself announced the film's arrival to the 4K format via Twitter. Naturally, this sent his loyal fanbase into a tizzy. Sure, owning the film digitally or importing the U.K. Blu-ray is all well and good, but a proper North American release is going to look mighty sweet on a shelf.

No details about what type of special features will be included as a part of the release are available at this time. Nevertheless, fans can rest easy knowing that all 242 minutes of Snyder's superior version of the film will be pressed into the forthcoming discs. When you stop and think about it, the journey toward this release is rather remarkable. Zack Snyder's Justice League is the product of a lot of passion, red tape, and campaigning to will it into being. It would be cool if the physical release included some kind of in-depth discussion about how the film was made, but we'll just have to wait and see what WB has in store for this release.

The 4K UHD Combo Pack, Blu-ray, and DVD of Zack Snyder's Justice League will be released on September 7. You can check out the cover art below.
