“Hannibal” fans really couldn’t have asked for a better addition to the psychotic family as “American Horror Story” star Zachary Quinto will appear in at least one episode of the show’s upcoming third season, reports EW. His character is said to be a patient of Bedelia’s, played by the wonderful Gillian Anderson. Quinto is a phenomenal actor who tends to dial it in when playing characters of the maddening variety; he's a perfect fit for “Hannibal”, even if it is just a single episode.
Michael Pitt was recently replaced by Joe Anderson as Mason Verger with THE HOBBIT star Richard Armitage landing a key role in Season 3 as Francis Dolarhyde, The Toothy Fairy. Nina Arianda will also join the cast as Will’s love interest. “Hannibal” is currently eyeing a return to NBC this summer.
