Zach Galifianakis, Seth Rogen, and Bill Hader to star in The Something

You would think that the vast and deadly expanses of outer space would be a breeding ground for comedy, but you'd be wrong; there hasn't been nearly enough space-based comedies for my liking, but thankfully we're finally due for another attempt featuring some very funny dudes. THR reports that Zach Galifianakis, Seth Rogen, and Bill Hader have signed on to star in THE SOMETHING.

Rodney Rothman (22 JUMP STREET) has penned the script for THE SOMETHING and will also be making his directorial debut with the film. THE SOMETHING will follow a group of male astronauts, to be played by Galifianakis, Rogen, and Hader, who, after being stuck in space for many years, encounter another ship. Whether that ship will be populated by other astronauts, aliens, or Orion slave girls remains to be seen, but we desperately need another great space comedy as I've worn out my copy of GALAXY QUEST several times over.

As for future projects, Zach Galifianakis has a few films set for release soon, including KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES and MASTERMINDS. He'll also be supplying the voice of The Joker in THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE. Bill Hader will be lending his voice to THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE as well as appearing of one of the giants in Steven Spielberg's THE BFG. As for Seth Rogen, we'll be seeing him very soon in NEIGHBORS 2: SORORITY RISING when it's released on May 20, 2016.
