It won't be long now before director Andrés Muschietti invites us all to float on down to our local theaters for what I've heard is a pants-crappingly good horror film. Today, we've got an intense new trailer for the forthcoming remake of Stephen King's IT, and in my opinion, it's even scarier than the last one we've seen.
You can check out the new trailer below, though I hope you've got some Depends on-hand:
In case you're not familiar with the story of IT takes place in the township of Derry, Maine, where seven friends come face-to-face with a shape shifter, who takes the form of an evil clown when targeting children. It's nightmare fuel at its finest, and the films September 8th release date is practically right around the corner. IT stars Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise, the malevolent clown that was previously portrayed by the legendary Tim Curry – for the 1990 TV mini-series presentation of the tale.
Joining Skarsgard for the frightfest will be STRANGER THINGS star Finn Wolfhard, Javier Botet, Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Megan Charpentier, Owen Teague and Steven Williams.
Andrés Muschietti's IT will float into theaters on September 8th.
