This isn’t some 19th century FIGHT CLUB, of course you can ask about the new poster for ANNA KARENINA. I don’t have any immediate questions on the subject. I think it’s gorgeous and am taken with its charms.
Really, I’m just taken with Joe Wright’s literary adaptations. That man knows how to create a scene. Like most chicks probably, I am hooked on his vision of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I can bet that ANNA KARENINA will be just as memorizing. While Wright’s films may not be wildly popular at the box office, it’s hard to deny his strong directorial skills. I can’t wait to see this one.>
Check out the poster below.
The epic love story “Anna Karenina,” adapted from Leo Tolstoy’s classic novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (“Shakespeare in Love”). The story unfolds in its original late-19th-century Russia high-society setting and powerfully explores the capacity for love that surges through the human heart, from the passion between adulterers to the bond between a mother and her children. As Anna (Ms. Knightley) questions her happiness, change comes to her family, friends, and community.
