You can submit your film to the first annual Fangoria Online Film Fest

The good people over at Fangoria Magazine are about to meld horror fans with their computer screens like never before. This morning they announced their first annual Fangoria Online Film Festival, an internet experience where horror filmmakers can premiere their work online directly to a wide audience.

According to their announcement:

While the ordinary film festival experience allows films to debut in cities around the world to select patrons, the FANGORIA International Online Film Festival gives horror-centric filmmakers from around the globe the opportunity to premiere their films to a worldwide audience. As times have changed with the distribution and presentation of content, FANGORIA is changing the the film festival experience with it, bringing new, quality genre entertainment- both feature length and shorts- to stream on multiple platforms, such as televisions, computers, tablets and phones.

Users can submit their own content, to be judged by a set of panelists including Tom Savini (FRIDAY THE 13TH, THE BURNING), George A. Romero (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, DAWN OF THE DEAD), and Tom Holland (FRIGHT NIGHT, CHILD'S PLAY). All their selections will receive the Fangoria seal of approval as well as an online premiere during the festival.

Do you have work you'd like to share? Do you have an idea that can scare the pants off the world? If you do, submissions can be made here between July 1st and August 31st.

Tom Savini, George A. Romero, and Tom Holland round out the panel of judges.
