You can catch Cooties on DVD and Blu-Ray in time for Christmas

The kiddie zombie flick COOTIES has finally spread to VOD, and if you're anywhere near as juvenile as I am, it's bound to delight the crap out of you. Just wash your hands afterward.

If you want to proudly display COOTIES on your shelf, the time is swift approaching. The flick will hit Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD on December 1, 2015. This release includes an audio commentary with the cast and crew, two behind-the-scenes featurettes, deleted and extended scenes, an alternate ending, and a gag reel. Those last two items are what I'm gunning for, but it all sounds like a ton of fun. And just in time for Christmas! Hint, hint.

When a cafeteria food virus turns elementary school children into little killer savages, a group of misfit teachers must band together to escape the playground carnage. The film stars Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, and Alison Pill as teachers who fight to survive the most unruly students ever on the worst Monday of their lives!

COOTIES, which also stars Jack McBrayer, Leigh Whannell, Nasim Pedrad, Ian Brennan, and Jorgé Garcia, was directed by Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion from a screenplay by Whannell and Brennan. Give it a test drive on VOD here!
