Filming has begun on X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, and several behind-the-scenes images from yesterday's shoot in a mall in Montreal have surfaced online over at Universo X-Men and the X-Men: News Twitter. Besides another look at Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, the images also feature the first (unofficial) look at Tye Sheridan's Cyclops, Sophie Turner's Jean Grey and Lana Condor's Jubilee, and all four actors are sporting some very 1980's clothing.
In addition, CBM has a few pieces of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE concept art from the latest issue of Empire, which include the Ben Hardy Angel art from earlier this month and the X-Men's Blackbird jet. There's also a picture of ancient Egypt, and confirmation from director Bryan Singer that some of the film will take place during that era. What are your thoughts on the latest X-MEN: APOCALYPSE concept art, and the first look at a good chunk of the mutant team?
X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will be in theaters on May 27, 2016.
