X marks the teaser poster for X-Men: First Class

Well. After that costume lineup pic that looked like it might be for a relaunch of the “Mutant X” TV series, those new casual snaps from X-MEN: FIRST CLASS were a bit of a relief, huh? At least if you’re hoping for a groovy 1960s version of the familiar (and some not quite so) Marvel mutants. With cleavage.

And now AICN got the first teaser poster (click below for big), which is pretty straightforward and scholastic, while still somewhat thematically similar (a big metal X!) to the early poster images for Bryan Singer’s own X-movies.

Speaking of Singer, the FIRST CLASS producer got in touch with AICN’s recuperating webmaster Harry Knowles, who says: “Bryan tells me that he’s seen a mock up for the trailer, but they’ve still got a ton of visual effects shots left to slug into the thing.”
