World War Z’s Marc Forster tapped to helm Disney’s Christopher Robin

Christoper Robin, the young boy who shared his adventures with Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest of the animals of the Hundred Acre Wood, will be the focus of an upcoming Disney film, except this time, he'll be a joyless adult like the rest of us. With his home life on the brink, the last thing his life needs is the return of Pooh, who needs his help in finding his friends again. Robin has to find a way to help both sides or risk losing everything he holds dear." Oh bother.

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN isn't the only film currently in the works which will focus on the writings of A.A. Milne; Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie are currently attached to star in Simon Curtis' GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN, a drama which will give us a rare glimpse into the relationship between A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin after the family is swept up in the international success of the Winnie the Pooh books. With the eyes of the world upon them, what will the cost be to the family?
