Late last year Woody Harrelson announced that he was going to shoot a feature film with one camera in one continuous take and stream the entire thing live to theaters. "No one has ever shot a movie and live-broadcast in the cinemas at the same time, no one's ever been that stupid," joked Harrelson at the time, but miraculously, it worked. LOST IN LONDON was based on a real-life incident which happened to Woody Harrelson back in 2002 when he broke an ashtray in the back of a London taxicab and set off a series of events which landed him in jail. The film's live release occurred on January 19th, but it seems that those of us who missed the fun will get the chance to witness Harrelson's crazy night after all as the film is set to be released in select theaters next month.

Although it may lose a little something knowing that the events aren't unfolding in real-time, LOST IN LONDON still looks as though it could be a lot of fun, especially when you count in guest appearances from Owen Wilson and Willie Nelson. As for Harrelson, he has several major projects on the horizon, including WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES on July 14, 2017 and the UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM on May 25, 2018.
The official synopsis of LOST IN LONDON:
A comic re-staging of one crazy night in Soho in 2002, ‘Lost In London’ follows Harrelson, playing himself, as he struggles to get home to his family after a scandal threatens to ruin his marriage. Run-ins with royalty, friends and the law all seem to conspire to keep him from succeeding. Funny, charming and finally quite moving, Woody’s film ultimately proves much more than a dazzling technical exercise.
LOST IN LONDON will open in limited-release on May 5, 2017.
