Wolf Like Me first look images show Josh Gad, Isla Fisher in horror comedy series

Wolf Like Me, a horror comedy series starring Josh Gad and Isla Fisher, will be making its premiere on the Peacock streaming service on January 13th, and the folks at Collider got their hands on a batch of first look images that show Gad and Fisher in character. These images can be seen below.

Wolf Like Me was created by Abe Forsythe, who previously directed Gad in the very fun horror comedy zombie movie Little Monsters (watch it on Hulu). The horror element of Wolf Like Me is being kept under wraps, but we can speculate based on the title and one of the images below. Forsythe is purposely trying not to give much away about his show:

I’d love for audiences to go into watching the series not knowing where it’s going or what gets revealed as the show progresses because I think if that happens, then it’s going to shock and surprise people. You get to the end of every episode and there’s a reason that you have to keep watching.”

The show has the following official synopsis:

Everyone brings their own set of baggage to a new relationship. Gary (Josh Gad) and Mary (Isla Fisher) are no different. Gary is an emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife. Mary has a secret she can’t bring herself to share with anyone. The universe brought these two together for a reason, they just need to keep following the signs.

Wolf Like Me consists of six episodes, all of which were directed by Forsythe. He also executive produced the series with Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea, and Steve Hutensky.

I was so entertained by Little Monsters, I’ll watch anything Forsythe makes. So I’ll definitely be watching Wolf Like Me next month.
