We're coming up on three years since the second season of the Wolf Creek series was released through the the Australian streaming service Stan, and it's been two years since WOLF CREEK franchise creator Greg McLean assured fans that "WOLF CREEK 3 will happen"… so where is the third film, or a third season of the show? Have McLean and star John Jarratt given up on the continuing story of Mick Taylor?
This week, Jarratt took to his Facebook page to give an update on what's happening in the world of WOLF CREEK. He said,
I have received an overwhelming amount of messages about Wolf Creek 3 the season and the movie. Greg McLean and I have both projects in the works but unfortunately Covid-19 has the world at a standstill. I promise to keep you updated as we all try our best to get through these tough times."
So these things are in development, it has apparently just been taking a while, and now the pandemic has come along to make the development process last even longer. Things are delayed, but it's good to know that they do intend to bring Mick Taylor back at some point. We still haven't seen the last of him.
