"I'm going to do something now they used to do in Vietnam. It's called making a head on a stick."
That line still gets to me after all these years. The original, amazing, WOLF CREEK was released way back in 2005 (hard to believe, huh?) with the follow-up sequel hitting us a full eight years later in 2013. We only had to wait a mere three years after that to be gifted with the six-episode series.
Well it looks like the time between WOLF CREEK outings keeps getting smaller and smaller (not complaining here) as the second season of the series has just been officially announced by none other than franchise writer/director Greg McLean on Twitter.
#WolfCreek So bloody excited to announce we're doing season 2 of the Wolf Creek series! @realjohnjarratt @BDisgusting @FANGORIA @STYDNews https://t.co/sluHmtXVJH

Hey, thanks for the @arrowinthehead love, Greg! I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Anyhow I'm very excited about this renewal, as the six episodes that formed last season just left me waiting more. There is no word yet if the series will run more than six episodes this coming season, but whatever, I'll take whatever I can get.
As always, we'll keep you up to date on any and all WOLF CREEK news as it hits. But until then, go back and binge watch the first season, along with the first two flicks, and get ready for more WOLF CREEK, coming TBD. Bring it on.
You can catch Greg McLean's newest flick, the James Gunn-scripted THE BELKO EXPERIMENT, March 17th.
