Witness the Transformers series’ greatest acting yet with this featurette

The latest Transformers flick looks to involve King Arthur, an Autobot MacGuffin to stop evil once and for all (until the next movie) and Sir Anthony Hopkins. How any of that goes together in a coherent plot is anyone’s guess, but you can get an idea of Hopkins’ character with this latest featurette from the set of TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT. Warning! Adorable pup ahead!

From the looks of things, Hopkins will be playing a historian of sorts who will provide our heroes with the necessary information to “win the day.” I’m kinda hoping that Freya turns out to be a Decepticon in hiding, only to catch everyone off-guard, go on a rampage and slaughter all the humans. I’m not going to put money on it, but I’m just sayin’, that’d be pretty badass.

TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT opens in theaters on June 23, 2017.
