The holiday season is not just a time for big blockbusters or Oscar contenders, but also for sentimental tear-jerkers that seek to remind everyone what the meaning of life really is. They often have an A-list ensemble cast, and the primary color of their posters is usually white. This year that movie is shaping up to be COLLATERAL BEAUTY, a flick with a pretty great cast that includes Will Smith, Edward Norton, Kate Winslet, Michael Pena, Naomie Harris, Helen Mirren and Keira Knightley. Smith stars as a man who has lost a great deal in his life, and is visited by Time (Jacob Latimore), Love (Knightley) and Death (Mirren) who remind him about what it is to live and such. The film just dropped a new trailer, and there’s quite a lot of feelings going around.
Take a look below:
This trailer seems much heavier than the first one, which played into it's slightly quirky premise a bit more. Here the drama and weight of the story is felt more directly, which may prove a little too heavy-handed for some. Still, the film looks perfectly harmless and I’m sure Smith and the cast will done a fine job. It will be a fine alternative to anyone who doesn't want to see ROGUE ONE that week. You know who you are, Gary.
COLLATERAL BEAUTY is set for December 16.
