Will Ferrell to host ESPN’s SportsCenter as Ron Burgundy on December 5th

What is the name of this network again? Esspen? That's a terrible name. The Big Lead has learned Will Ferrell will host the 6 p.m. SportsCenter on December 5th. His appearance hasn't been finalized so there hasn't been an announcement yet, but The Wrap has heard from their sources that Ferrell will not break from his Ron Burgundy character while guest hosting the sports news program. There has been a couple of celebrity hosts recently (actor Ken Jeong and NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson) for SportsCenter, however sources say ESPN won't be rolling out a new celebrity every week to guest host the show. Obviously, Ron Burgundy is kind of a big deal.

"This place is run by a bunch of children."

It seems like you can't go anywhere without seeing Ron Burgundy's mustached face. Not that I'm complaining, but every time I turn around, there's another video of Mr. Burgundy trying to sell me a car or talking about how one should avoid smelly pirate hookers. Or this latest one of Ron being very confused by a headline about Doctor Who and Peter Capaldi. Stay classy, TARDIS?

"Which doctor?"

ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES will be released on December 20th, 2014.
