Will Ferrell and Adam McKay get behind a Virginity Hit

At first I thought this was just another email containing a Funny or Die video, but alas it is not.

Actually it’s a feature film about a guy who just can’t seem to loose his V-card. That v stands for virginity, not whatever else you’re thinking about. You were close though…

When you go to the website, thevirginityhit.com it seems just like a early site with the films title. However, when you hover between the title and footer and click to highlight the space in between a phone number comes up. I’ll save you some time. Here’s the phone number: 888-743-4335

When you call it’s a “Virgin Helpline” that gives you several different prompts. I called and went through a few of them and actually laughed when I heard what some of them said. It’s funny how they are just now promoting it and it comes out a couple of months from now.

Writers for THE LAST EXORCISM Andrew Gurland & Huck Botko penned the screenplay for this. Sort of odd. Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Chris Henchy are producing. The cast lists two unknowns as starring the film: Matt Bennett & Zack Pearlman. The film will be released September 10th.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Four guys with a video camera and too much free time who tell the tale of one of their own and his quest to lose his virginity. Matt’s the only one of the four who hasn’t gone all the way – he was going to do it with his girlfriend on their two-year anniversary, until he found out she cheated on him and called it off. Now he’s got some unfinished business and it becomes more important than ever for Matt to do the deed. His friends want to see him close the deal and lead him on a journey through friends with benefits, internet hookups, and even adult film stars – recording it all for the web.
