Earlier this morning, Warner Bros. Pictures used the official Teen Titans Go! Movie Twitter account to announce that Will Arnett (BOJACK HORSEMAN, THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE) and Kristen Bell (VERONICA MARS, THE GOOD PLACE) will be joining the cast of the forthcoming TEEN TITANS GO! movie, which is now officially titled TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES.
Set to be directed by Aaron Horvath (CRITTERS, UNIKITTY!) and Peter Rida Michail (SPACE RACERS) from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic (BATMAN: RETURN OF THE CAPED CRUSADERS) and Horvath, the new film will also feature Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Scott Menville as Robin, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Tara Strong as Raven, and Hynden Walch as Starfire as the actors reprise their roles from the mega-popular Cartoon Network series that follows the adventures of the aforementioned super hero teammates. Michail, Will Arnett and Peggy Regan are on board to produce with Sam Register, Jelenic and Horvath each serving as executive producers.

While both Arnett and Bell are no strangers to the voice acting game, this will be the first time the two have worked side-by side on a DC Comics-related project. So far, no details have been given as to the nature of their characters for TEEN TITANS GO! THE THE MOVIES. Personally, I would assume that Arnett will voice the role of Batman for the film, though this is just an educated guess on my part. Considering that both Arnett and Bell are two in-demand actors, I'm sure that the WB has big plans for their high-profile additions to the cast. Perhaps Bell will be the voice of Barbara Gordon, or a new player in the DC's animated universe. Oh, maybe she'll be the film's villain! That would be cool!
TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES is set for a July 27, 2018 release!
