Wild Eye to release gory slasher Killer Campout

Director Brad Twigg's gore-soaked slasher KILLER CAMPOUT is a project we covered a couple times back when it was filmed in 2016. We even shared a trailer for the film in December of that year. If you've been wondering where KILLER CAMPOUT is and when you'll be able to see it, we now have an answer for you: Wild Eye Releasing has picked up the distribution rights to the film and will be releasing it on home video early next year.

Written by Matt Hill and James L. Edwards, KILLER CAMPOUT tells the following story:

Two youth counselors bring a group of emotionally troubled teens deep into the woods for a weekend of solitude and confrontational therapy. The trip turns deadly when the group is terrorized by a cannibalistic hermit with a thirst for blood.

Jesse L. Green plays the slasher, with Julio Fernandez, Mariana Triantos, Nadia White, Luba Hansen, Andrea Marie, Solon Tsangaras, Chris O'Brocki, Erica Jones, Alex Neumeier, Rick Jermain, Jenny Jannetty, David Phillip Carollo, Lindsay Lockhart, Roger Yawson, Rosanna Nelson, Nicholas Yoder II, Matthew L. Furman, Gary Lee Vincent, George Stover, John A. Russo, and James L. Edwards among his co-stars and potential victims. The film is introduced by the late Herschell Gordon Lewis, "the Godfather of Gore".

An exact date hasn't been revealed, but Wild Eye will be releasing KILLER CAMPOUT sometime in February.

Horror Society got the exclusive first look at the new trailer for the film, along with the Wild Eye cover art, which is quite reminiscent of the cover art for the '80s slasher THE MUTILATOR.
