Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Why do I love movies? Well, that is a loaded question. How much time do you have? I could go into a long-winded diatribe about the art of film-making or the magic of the movies, but all of that has been said countless times before. Not every movie is a masterpiece, but every film has touched me in one way or another. Every other week, we will look at a handful of reasons why movies are so damn great..

CHAPTER II

Because of Reverend Kane in POLTERGEIST II

Because of seeing HARD TARGET in the theater with my dad.

Because of Robert Downey Jr in CHAPLIN

Because of Bruce Lee fighting Chuck Norris in WAY OF THE DRAGON

Because of the Koreans reconciling with the Americans at the end of BEST OF THE BEST

Because of George Clooney‘s tattoo in FROM DUSK TILL DAWN

Because of Jean Claude Van Damme saying he just wants to eat in UNIVERSAL SOLDIER

Because of how scared I got seeing THE EXORCIST the first time
