Last week we learned that "True Blood" alum Rob Kazinsky had signed on to star as the titular character in Fox's upcoming pilot "Frankenstein", which is coming at us from executive producers Rand Ravich and Howard Gordon and inspired by Mary Shelley's mythology. Now Deadline is reporting that "While Collar" star Tim DeKay is set as a co-lead opposite Kazinsky.
Frankenstein centers on…
…Ray Pritchard, a morally corrupt retired cop who is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Privy to information only a dead man could possess, this former Marine and L.A. County Sheriff (Kazinsky) teams with his son, FBI Agent Duval Pritchard (DeKay), to take down the bad guys. However, though his body is new, his thoughts and desires are of a 75-year-old badass curmudgeon.
Also cast in the project in a recurring role is veteran character actor Philip Baker Hall, who plays the older version of Kazinsky’s central character.
The cast also includes "Rules of Engagement's" Adhir Kalyan as one of Frankenstein's creators, Otto Goodwin.
