Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi's horror-comedy mockumentary WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS has a TV spin-off aptly called … WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS. And today we've learned that the 10-episode second season will be hitting FX on Wednesday, April 15 at 10 p.m. And then the next day it will stream on Hulu. Better yet, the premiere will include the first two episodes, followed by a new episode each subsequent week.
It centers on
three vampires who live together: Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Nandor (Kayvan Novak) — the former two are husband and wife. Also living with them is a fourth vampire named Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch), who’s an “energy vampire.” Instead of blood, he sucks the energy out of his victims by boring them to death with mundane anecdotes and bad jokes. The office is his feeding ground, but his powers also work on his vampire roomies.
Guillen co-stars as the vampires' "sweet but fumbling" familiar, along with Beanie Feldstein, Doug Jones, and Jake McDorman. WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS is executive produced by Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, Paul Simms, Scott Rudin, Eli Bush, and Garrett Basch. Once again, the 10-episode second season of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS will be hitting FX on Wednesday, April 15 at 10 p.m. And then the next day it will stream on Hulu.
