I’ll be honest and admit I know little to nothing about CLOUD ATLAS. I know it’s some kind of sci-fi epic co-directed by the Wachowskis and Tom Twkyer and stars Tom Hanks and Halle Berry and Hugh Grant and Keith Davis (!). Many people I’ve talked to who’ve also ready the book by David Mitchell have wondered how the hell the Wachowskis and Twyker plan on adapting the material for the screen. Well maybe these images will help us figure that out…

This image looks to be from the segment of the book titled “An Orison of Sonmi~451” which takes place in a dystopian version of South Korea. Doona stars as Sonmi~451, a clone about to be executed for rebelling against the totalitarian government.
Not really sure what this is supposed to be but possible the events that bookend the story, with explorer Adam Ewing sailing in the Pacific Ocean.
