There's nothing quite like the completion of a trilogy. Sometimes it delivers (LOTR: RETURN OF THE KING) and sometimes it doesn't (THE MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS), but one of the most anticipated of them all is likely to also be the safest bet. Edgar Wright's finale to the Three Flavours Cornetto (aka The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy), THE WORLD'S END is finally here and we can all find out how it stacks against its predecessors SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ. Is it better, worse, or right in line? We've covered the film extensively with trailers, tv spots, interviews, and even a sweet Top Ten list of what we'd like to see these guys do next. We also have Eric Walkuski's review from Comic Con and another from our man, JimmyO. Even The Arrow dropped his thoughts, with everyone favoring the final chapter immensely. Check out our interviews with director Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost below!
As this is the last hurrah of the summer, we want to hear what you guys thought of THE WORLD'S END. Did it live up to the hype? Does it close the trilogy with style? Hit us back with your review in our strike back section below (or to your Movie Fan Central profile). We'll continue to update the scores from MFC and rotten tomatoes throughout the week, so check back and share your thoughts as you catch the film.
