What did you think of…Godzilla?

Gojira has arrived! We’ve waited through two years worth of Comic Con teases and an onslaught of marketing that mostly hinted at the King of All Monsters’ final debut, showing as little as possible. Until now. GODZILLA is finally in theaters and we can see for ourselves if the lizard-like kaiju can dominate movie screens after his (her?) last attempt failed miserably. With MONSTERS director Gareth Evans at the helm and a beefed up cast, including Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston, future Avengers Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen, and “Ruse” Al Ghul himself, Ken Watanabe.

Anticipation grew with each new trailer, TV spot, poster, etc. and early reviews suggested that this GODZILLA may well be the one we’ve been waiting for. JimmyO’s video review came out to a 8/10, while Chris Bumbray’s 6/10 review suggested that while it had its merits, the film can’t quite match the hype.
