Well, the moment has come; the first-ever live-action JUSTICE LEAGUE feature film has arrived. After a cartoon series, a non-starter live-action TV show, a canceled film from George Miller and decades of comics on the rack, JUSTICE LEAGUE is finally here. The anticipation is through the roof for this film, which comes courtesy of a number of visions, including Zack Snyder, Joss Whedon and the whole of Warner Bros. who have made it clear that the film is a bit of an answer to the backlash that they took with BVS and SUICIDE SQUAD last year, both of which raked in the money, but not the acclaim. The League has assembled a hell of a cast with Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and, of course, Henry Cavill as Superman. Now, the only question is if audiences will bite on this lighter tone or if it's too much of a change from the darker themes they've grown accustomed to.
Much has been made about the scoring and ratings of the film, with Rotten Tomatoes even hosting a live reveal of their accumulated rating and many fans hoping that critics would swoon for the pic. Currently sitting at 36% on RT, it appears that the critics were not swayed by the newer, shinier vision, but that doesn't mean there isn't still love for the film. In the end, audiences will trump any critical voice with their hard-earned bucks. Having seen the film twice, I can say it was a very mixed bag, but the most important aspect, the characters, was a win. It's just a shame the story and the villain took a backseat. From my 7/10 REVIEW, I summed it up with, "In the end, JUSTICE LEAGUE comes together as a launching off point kind of film, rather than the end-all-be-all JUSTICE LEAGUE film we've been waiting for. But, is that really a bad thing? Perhaps that's just what was needed and it's very likely most people will walk out wanting to see more of these characters in solo efforts or sequels and that's a good bit of hope to take with you out of the theater." We'll have Chris Bumbray's take up in the morning!

And with that, now it's your turn! We want to hear what YOU thought of the film! Naturally, we'd prefer you to comment only if you've seen the film as that's the point here, but do what feels good. Just don't get mad if you get trounced for trolling or posting blatant spoilers in headlines. Healthy debate, genuine thoughts, and respectful interactions is all we ask. So, is this the course correction needed for the DCEU or did they go too far down the Marvel rabbit hole?
