Westworld season two gets a dramatic, sweeping new trailer

Audiences will witness the continuation of WESTWORLD come April 22 when season two begins, this time with the park in chaos and the hosts beginning to gain consciousness and self-awareness.  In other words, shit is hitting the fan this season, and with less than a month to go a new trailer has come out emphasizing the increased level of drama, chaos, and scope of this new season.

HBO and creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy seem to be keeping things close to the chest for the new season, with little detail being shared as to what exactly we can expect. We do know that similar faces are returning, such as Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Jimmi Simpson and Ed Harris. Some of these folks may be killed off, or maybe they’ll be lucky enough to venture into adjacent “worlds”, like Samurai World or Medieval World.

I’ll have to catch up on season one of WESTWORLD as I haven’t seen it since the original episodes aired in 2016. There’s a lot of stuff going on in this show regarding the intricate plot and characters, so it would be folly to head into this new season unprepared. That is unless you’re just watching to see some horses and dirt, in which case you can just jump right in.
