We've gotten our hands on a trailer (check it out in the embed above) and a poster (seen below) for the World War II survival horror thriller WEREWOLF, which Indiecan Entertainment will be giving a Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD release in North America on December 1st.
Written and directed by Adrian Panek, WEREWOLF was filmed in Poland and tells the following story:
Summer, 1945. Eight children from the Gross Rosen concentration camp find a provisional hiding place in an abandoned orphanage nearby, lost among the forest. It seems that after the horrors of the war the feral children may come back to normal life. All of a sudden, the idyllic atmosphere of peace and quietness is interrupted. The nightmare returns. In the surrounding forest, wolfhounds are circling. The dogs were released by SS officers before the liberation of Gross Rosen camp. Wolfhounds — taught and used to kill prisoners — surround the young heroes in the orphanage. All attempts to escape the place are failing. Children without any food and water turn to madness and wildness once again. But the real danger lurks inside the palace.
So this film has children who were in a concentration camp now being stalked by vicious dogs the SS trained to kill. That's a twisted, troubling idea that's sure to make for a movie that's going to be disturbing to sit through – and viewers in North America will have the chance to be disturbed by WEREWOLF next month.
