We talk Step Brothers, Drive and Aquaman with Atlas Genius!

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

The first time I heard 'Trojans' by Atlas Genius I was instantly in love. The Australian based alternative rock band offered a unique sound that is absolutely satisfying and wonderfully catchy. From their debut record "When It Was Now" to their latest, "Inanimate Objects," they offer a refreshingly engaging record that is worth listening from the beginning to the end – a rarity in many modern rock outfits. Brothers Keith and Michael Jeffery not only bring a massive amount of talent to the music world, they also happen to have a lot to say about movies.

Continuing in the tradition of our last chat with Jeph Howard from The Used, we sat down with both Keith and Michael, as well as bassist Alex Marans. While we started off with a little music talk, including a few awesome soundtrack choices, we quickly moved into movies. During our conversation with these three fine gentleman, the Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly comedy STEP BROTHERS came up. And yes, we are all fans. And if that wasn’t enough, Aquaman swam into the conversation, we had a slice of AMERICAN PIE, and once again we talked a little Kristen Stewart – her name came up with Jeph Howard as well.

Take a look at our unfiltered, and awesomely entertaining sit down with the terrific Atlas Genius. And of course, a huge thank you to Keith, Michael and Alex. They are seriously cool guys. Make sure you pick up both "When It Was Now" and "Inanimate Objects" if you haven’t already. And of course, if you see them coming to your town, pick up tickets and enjoy the show.
