We Talk Counterpart with J.K. Simmons, Justin Marks & Jordan Horowitz!

One of the most exciting actors today happens to be the extremely talented J.K. Simmons. Over the past few years, this amazing talent has given audiences a number of incredible performances, and now he is back on the small screen with Counterpart. Premiering only on STARZ on January 21st, 2018 at 8:00PM ET/PT, this fascinating series gives Simmons the chance to shine in a dual role. As a man who discovers that he has a near-identical counterpart in an alternate universe, the actor is fantastic, along with an impressive cast that includes Olivia Williams and Harry Lloyd.

We were thrilled to sit down with Mr. Simmons, as well as the show’s executive producers, Justin Marks and Jordan Horowitz, to talk about their latest. With Simmons, the actor discussed how things have changed in his already respectable career since WHIPLASH. He also talked about taking on the leading role in this particular series and playing both of the very distinct characters. To this, both Marks and Horowitz chatted about not having a young lead carrying the series. The two also talked about why they felt this was the perfect time to make Counterpart.
