The way the gaming industry has grown over the past few years is absolutely exceptional. We’ve come a very long way since the early offerings, and on November 12th, we’ll see things go even further with the release of the new Xbox One X. And in preparation, Microsoft wanted to celebrate with a special Disneyland event at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim with an early look at the console, as well as a few games, including a couple of remastered Disney titles, plus Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection and Super Lucky's Tale.
Held last Friday, a small group of journalists were gathered together to get a first look a the new system, plus a walkthrough of two games remastered in 4K. If you ever wanted to really explore Disneyland without the crowds, yet still interact with characters, see the bands, shop the stores and play assorted games, Disneyland Adventure is for you. You can even experience unique games based on 18 of the iconic attractions including the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Peter Pan and more. Now if you are a Pixar fan, you can’t beat Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure. It’s a great way to live in the world of UP, FINDING NEMO, THE INCREDIBLES, TOY STORY, CARS and RATATOUILLE.
The event was presented by Microsoft Studios Head of Production, Jorg Neumann and 1st Party Games Marketing Director John Dongelmans. The two introduced those in attendance to this incredible system, as well as give us a tour of the two remastered games, and best of all, we had the chance to play! While I’m a sucker for games like Friday the 13th, even I was absolutely entertained by my own personal Disneyland Adventures, as well as a little Pixar fun. As an Xbox and Disneyland fan, I’m looking forward to this ever expanding world of Xbox!
