Waxwork (1988) – Best Horror Movie You Never Saw

Welcome to the video edition of Arrow in the Head's The Best Horror Movie You Never Saw, which will be dedicated to highlighting horror films that, for one reason or another, don't get as much love as we think they should. We know plenty of you horror hounds out there will have seen many of the movies we pick, but there will be plenty of you who have not. This column is for all of you!

This week we take a look at Anthony Hickox's loony, gory, fun-as-hell WAXWORK (WATCH IT HEREOWN IT HERE), starring Zach Galligan, Deborah Foreman, Dana Ashbrook, Patrick Macnee and David Warner!

Waxwork is one of the most enjoyable and imaginative horror flicks of the late 80s; it's filled to the brim with bloodthirsty creatures and freaky death sequences. A must for any aficionado of monsters and mayhem!

Here's the official synopsis:

Inside the wax museum, a group of teenagers are aghast at the hauntingly lifelike wax displays of Dracula, the Wolfman, the Mummy and other charter members of the horror Hall of Fame. Each display is perfectly grotesque, yet each is missing one thing…a victim! Admission to the Waxwork was free, but now they may pay with their lives. One by one, the students are drawn into the settings as objects of the bloodthirsty creatures. They are now part of the permanent collection.
