With each new MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movie Tom Cruise and the gang find a new way to top the insanity of the previous outing, no matter how impossible a mission that may seem. In the new movie – FALLOUT – we will witness the most complex, dangerous, and daring stunt sequence yet when Cruise does a real HALO jump from 25,000 feet. The new featurette for the movie explores all the planning and intricacies of the jump, showing all it took to get ready for this death-defying sequence. In short, it makes running alongside the tallest building in the world look like playing in a jungle gym.
When an IMF mission ends badly, the world is faced with dire consequences. As Ethan Hunt takes it upon himself to fulfill his original briefing, the CIA begins to question his loyalty and his motives. Hunt finds himself in a race against time, hunted by assassins and former allies while trying to prevent a global catastrophe.
I'm always blown away by how hard the crew works to pull off these exciting action scenes, and it just goes to show you how much they care about giving us a truly satisfying moviegoing experience. From running on a large building all the way to jumping out of an actual airplane the M:I movies prove there's really nowhere to go but up. What that means is we can expect MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7 to feature a pretty amazing space jump, featuring Cruise landing on a real satellite.
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT arrives July 27.
