For as long as I can recall, I've been taught to respect my elders. As a 38-year-old nerd who can already feel the surprisingly tenacious grasp of Father Time wrapping its way around my lower back, I fear that it won't be long before I'm yelling at clouds and barking at whipper-snappers to get off my lawn.
You know who's looking pretty damn good in his old age, though? Chris Evans' "Old Cap," that's who. In a recent video posted by the Russo brothers, we can see that Evans' time-warped warrior still has plenty of pep in his step, and might want to consider trying out for the Yankees next season. What in the Sam Hill am I talking about, here? Why don't you take a gander at the video posted below to find out?
Would you look at those moves? And how about that arm? Hot damn, I say. Hot damn! I think Cap might have missed his calling by not trying out for the local league, or at least exploring the idea of becoming a dance instructor or boxing coach.
Of course, this clip is yet another behind-the-scenes look at AVENGERS: ENDGAME, the directing duo's follow-up to last year's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR as well as the highest grossing film of all time. If you're itching for more content like the above video, you should snag yourself a copy of AVENGERS: ENDGAME on Blu-ray and check out the ocean of extras included for the film's home release.
While many were quick to comment on Evans' saucy moves as "Old Cap," the Russos' feed quickly devolved into fans demanding that the brothers save Spider-Man from Sony's evil clutches.
“Do something about Spider-Man please. I know you don't have a direct say in it but you do certainly have the prestige to ask Disney to do something about it,” one user by the name of @dmazt3r wrote. Many others followed suit, and began bombarding the feed with SAVE SPIDER-MAN requests. I mean, I get it, a lot of people are understandably upset. That said, I'm not sure of how much the Russos can really do about the matter. I think we just need to wait and see how it all plays out. Personally, I'm hoping for a peaceful resolution, though I'm not holding my breath or anything. Sony is super confident in their ability to take Spidey to new heights, though I'm not sure of how they'll do that by ignoring the character's MCU history. I don't know that anyone is up for sitting through the character's origin again. We've been there and have done that, numerous time before. Anyway, I can see that I'm starting to go off on a tangent here, so why don't we just wrap things up?
If you're hankering for more "Old Cap," you should totally check out the extras included in the home release of AVENGERS: ENDGAME. Okay, now get off my lawn.
