One of the projects that Ben Affleck had to drop due to his schedule is a remake of the French film TELL NO ONE. Gavin O’Connor, director of WARRIOR and most recently, JANE GOT A GUN has stepped in to take over helping duties from Affleck.
The story is based on a novel from Harlan Coben, and was made into a film in 2008 by Guillaume Canet. It centers on “a doctor who was a suspected of foul play when his wife disappeared and finds himself under scrutiny once again when two new bodies show up and his wife’s case is reopened. Things get even more strange when he receives an email from his wife.”
Chris Terrio (AGRO) penned the script.
I’ve heard many great things about Canet’s film. Certainly for those who haven’t had the chance to see it a remake might bring more attention to the material and writer Coben’s other works.
