Sometimes I find it strange reporting release dates for movies a year in advance, but Warner Bros. have gone above and beyond advanced planning by announcing that they will release Legendary Pictures’ THE SEVENTH SON on February 15, 2013. Naturally, the date could change over the next year and a half.
The exorcism film is directed by Sergey Bodrov. Charles Leavitt wrote the script, with a previous version penned by Matt Greenberg, and the story is adapted from the book series by Joseph Delaney. Ben Barnes, Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore (below) and Alica Vikander star.
Tom Ward, a young boy training to be an exorcist in the 1700’s, must learn how to exorcise ghosts, contain witches, and bind boggarts. Trouble begins when he’s tricked into releasing the most evil witch in the world.
