Wanna get your hands on NECA’s Nintendo-inspired Jason Voorhees figure? Here’s your chance!

Back in May, NECA announced their plans to release a brand new Exclusive Jason Voorhees figure for the 2013 San Diego Comic Con. This Jason was not going to be any ordinary figure from the films, but rather the depiction of the character in the 1989 Nintendo video game. Yeah, you know the one…

Both Nintendo Power and Game Informer regard it as one of the worst games of all time, but c'mon! You know you enjoyed it!

For those of you not familiar with Jason's look in  the 1980's video game, it was far different than what we all know of Jason in the films. But those crazy cats at NECA decided to create a new figure based on the games' depiction of our favorite hockey mask-wearing madman, which will be available this July at SDCC. The figure itself will glow in the dark and comes in a slick retro homage to the video game packaging from the late 1980's game. Won't be making it to SDCC this year but still want to get your hands on one of these badboys? Well, the folks at Fridaythe13thFranchise.com has teamed up with NECA to offer you a chance to own this awesome figure! Click HERE to read all the details.
