Marvel's "WandaVision", starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision, will be the first MCU show to make its debut on Disney+, with it being earmarked for a fourth-quarter 2020 release. Marvel made it official when they dropped the first full-length trailer during the Primetime Emmy Awards, and you can check it out above.
While it was initially presumed that the heavily anticipated "The Falcon & the Winter Soldier" would be kicking off the new big-budget run of Marvel limited series, COVID-19 brought the production to a temporary halt. My feeling is that it ties into BLACK WIDOW and simply can't premiere until that film hits theaters. Thus, "WandaVision" will be the first series to actually air, and it looks like a trippy, fun, and dare I say it even original take on the characters.
As per the official synopsis, "The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems."
