Emma Bell has made something of a name for herself as a genre actress. She's most recently appeared as Amy in The Walking Dead, but has been somewhat ubiquitous with roles in Adam Green's FROZEN, FINAL DESTINATION 5, and HATCHET II. Now she's making the next step in her career, but it's not leading her away from horror at all.
The 29-year-old has just wrapped production on her directorial debut, a suspense flick titled SCRATCH. She and her team claim to have been inspired by "STOKER, THE OTHERS, and BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA," and if it can in any way capture the visual sense of any of those films, it will be a sublimely gorgeous debut.
In SCRATCH:
When a repressed 1950’s housewife is left alone by her philandering husband, she makes a horrifying discovery about the noises in the house that are coming from the walls.
SCRATCH stars Bel Deliá (THE TUNNEL) and Camron Robertson (ABSENTIA), with Terry Zumalt (DIVERGENT) behind the camera. It was produced by Tessa Saville and Bel Deliá.
