Writer, director and Stephen King adapter extraordinaire Frank Darabont is finally getting the King-based horror thriller THE MIST underway. He recently added a few more names to his roster of victims and now he’s following in the footsteps of Peter Jackson and Bryan Singer and will be producing on-set video diaries that’ll ultimately give us no real insight into the creative process but are cool to watch anyway because anything behind-the-scenes makes us feel all warm and tingly inside. Check out the inaugural vlog (that’s video log to the uncool) in which Darabont introduces everyone to the set HERE. As for the film, it’s about a creepy mist opening an inter-dimensional rift and allowing monsters to terrorize the fragile inhabitants of a local supermarket. The film opens November 21st.
