Visit The Ghost Dimension on VOD next week, Blu-Ray in January

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION hits VOD December 15th in an unprecedented early online push. Between you and me, it's not like it could have hurt theatrical sales that much. Even though GHOST DIMENSION was far from the worst PARANORMAL ACTIVITY movie (Part 4 holds that highest of honors), it did not fare well in cinemas. Maybe it will get a second chance from latent fans on demand.

In addition, the flick will hit DVD and Blu-Ray on January 12, 2016. The releases will be pretty bare bones, but if you shell out for the Blu, you'll get an unrated cut, an alternate ending, and "Lost Footage," which is probably just a cutesie name for Deleted Scenes. You know, in case you didn't get enough scenes of inexplicable haunting the first time around.

THE GHOST DIMENSION, directed by Gregory Plotkin, follows a new family, the Fleeges — father Ryan (Chris J. Murray), mother Emily (Brit Shaw) and their young daughter Leila (Ivy George) — who move into a house and discover a video camera and a box of tapes in the garage.

When they look through the camera's lens, they begin to see the paranormal activity happening around them — including the re-emergence of young Kristi and Katie.
