Director Christopher McQuarrie recently announced on his Twitter Ving Rhames will return as Luther Stickell in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5, making him the only actor to appear in every MI flick besides Tom Cruise. No word on how large his role will be in the film, but hopefully it'll bigger than his cameo in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL. Filming for the next MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movie should start by the end of the month, and it'll open on December 25, 2015.
Welcome back, Mr. Rhames. cc: @TomCruise @simonpegg @Renner4Real #MI5Diary

It's also been revealed Stellan Skarsgard will be back as Dr. Erik Selvig in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Skarsgard told Total Film he will have a "small appearance" in THE AVENGERS sequel, and he says he'll be showing some skin again, like he did in THOR: THE DARK WORLD.
Yeah, I was naked again. They called my agent and said, 'Do you think Stellan will mind being naked?' My agent laughed his head off. Yeah, I almost insist! Sometimes with a contract you get a nudity clause, which is fantastic. It’s supposed to protect me from having my genitals exploited, which I doubt anybody would make a dime on.
Stellan Skarsgard also says he "didn’t have much clue about the Marvel universe" when he was cast as Dr. Selvig, before going on to talk about one of the meetings he had with Kevin Feige and Marvel.
What I said to Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel, was, 'All those superheroes? Still in those comic books? Can you make money out of that?' The whole table just froze and looked at me as if I was an idiot.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (now with more naked Stellan Skarsgard) will be in theaters on May 1, 2015.
