Video Interview! We talk with Tony Todd about his new film Immortal & more!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Tony Todd has one of the most iconic voices in cinema. A genre actor whose films run the gamut from drama to horror and has been involved in some of the most quintessential stories ever told. From THE CROW to the FINAL DESTINATION series and his career-defining role as the horror icon, CANDYMAN, he is one of our generation's most important genre actors.

As someone who grew up at the video store, it's a wild ride to talk with the man that has starred in many of my favorite films from my formative years. We sat down (via ZOOM) with Mr. Todd to discuss his new film, IMMORTAL, the underrated remake of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, his love for the HATCHET series, and much more. Crack a cold one (we pretty much now all work from home anyway, right?) and enjoy the lively and always poetic, Tony Todd.

IMMORTAL tells the following story:

Thrown into the face of death only to emerge unharmed, the characters of Immortal are left staring at eternity in the face with uncertainty and fear like they've never imagined.

Check out the interview above, give the trailer a look below, and get ready for IMMORTAL on VOD September 8th, 2020.

*Editor's Note: I mistakenly referred to NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD as RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD in this interview. Though I love RETURN, I misspoke and now have to live out the rest of my days in shame. Please go easy!
